I ran across several sound problems while making my podcast and announcements in my website.
1. I think the most important thing to do is have a good microphone. I would buy one to keep in your classroom and at home from Target or Walmart. If you have school money, this might be something you want to use it on. Once I finally got a good microphone, most of my troubles went away.
2. Double check your settings on your computer. It is usually under settings in the start menu. Make sure nothing is on mute or turned down really low.
3. Check and double check on a different computer if you can that it works well.
