My frustration is when I am working with second graders and I am alone in the computer lab or alone in my classroom with the COW and I can't seem to be in more than one place at a time. I would like to know how to teach kids to problem solve with the computer. It is a skill that we all need to know and all face at some time, but trying to explain to a second grader that patience is key when working with computers is almost foreign.
I think teaching students the basics of using a computer is very important but can be frustrating. There is no questions that technology engages children and excites them, but just venting as a teacher of young children, I can find it very frustrating. This in no means deters me from teaching it in my class, but encourages me to work harder to have better classroom management during this time.
