I have to admit that I knew nothing about the blog world until this class. My best friend just recently had gotten into in it and many of my friends with kids have personal blogs, so family members could see pictures and hear about the day to day life of their loved ones. I honestly could not find the time to really look through them all, unless I was very close to that person.
My best friend's blog is called P is for Party. She used to be a wedding./even planner for a firm in Houston, but since she had children she has not had the time to stay up in the field until now. She is now is able to use blogs to continue her passion and let me tell you, she is amazing at it. She has many, many followers and helps friends out with their small businesses by advertising their talents in her parties. For example, she just did a give away of personalized stationary for a very talented friend who designs personal stationary and invitations. The give away was a success for both of them because Christi got more followers and Hayley had several people look through her website, www.hhdesigns.com, and see what cute things she had. Christi, then had a random number chosen using random.org.
I now know from this class how easy it is to start a blog and post blogs, but Christi has since shown me the whole world of blogging. You can pretty much find the answer to any question from a blog, you can also get many wonderful ideas for parties, weddings, and teachers, lesson plans! I am a little afraid I am going to get addicted.
I am grateful that this class removed my reservations and that Christi has encouraged me to look through the interesting world of blogs!
