Welcome to the Big Time! EDU 6386

We just left our first F2F of the semester and I am not going to lie, I feel a little overwhelmed, BUT excited at the same time. I feel like many of the things we are going to learn in this class are things that have been on my to do list for my personal classroom for a long time now. I am so glad that now I will have a good reason to learn how to use them and use them! (that would be the whole part about the fact I am getting graded for this:)) I have used Photostory, but have not used Movie Maker yet and I am really looking forward to this project. My students are going to love being apart of this with me. I am hoping to do something with the fairy tale that each one of them just wrote. I have used Podcasting, but would like to be more proficient with it because I know it can be a very powerful tool to use during reading and even publishing. Another thing I am exciting about learning more about is websites. I have had one since I began teaching, but have never been really good at updating and using it as a tool for parents or students. I want to become more comfortable with it so it will benefit my students. Overall I am excited about this semester and what we are going to learn!!
